Greenconn’s GC01 series products are high-performance floating board-to-board connectors that feature a 0.50mm pitch and an innovative contact design. The internal contacts are designed with a hybrid structure that includes both power terminals and signal terminals. These connectors support high current and high-speed transmission, allowing for three-axis floating movement in X, Y, and Z directions. Their compact design and excellent performance make them perfect for powering and transmitting signals to a wide range of devices.

1.Advantages of floating connectors

1.1 In practical scenarios, when two PCB boards are connected using multiple connectors or a single set of connectors, there may be misalignment due to slight deviations in accuracy during the assembly process. This misalignment poses a challenge in achieving a precise fit, making the assembly process quite difficult. However, by utilizing floating connectors, this issue can be easily resolved.


1.2 To ensure smooth insertion, the floating connector offers three-axes floating (X, Y, Z) and includes a substantial chamfer and reverse mechanism to accommodate oblique insertion angles.


1.3 Any slight misalignment of a non-floating connector will result in some level of extrusion and strain. The prolonged build-up of pressure can have a negative impact on the stability of solder joints on the PCB board, resulting in potential failure. Floating connectors offer a solution to eradicate stress within dislocation structures, thereby ensuring the reliability of the entire line.
